Neon Signs

Eleven commercial signs and one art installation

In 1996, the Yakima Valley Museum started collecting neon signs from businesses that were closing or did not want the continued expense of maintaining their neon signs. Dick Elliott’s Circle Squared, a piece of neon artwork, is placed as a dramatic end to the Helen N. Jewett Bassalt Gallery and served as the artistic inspiration for the Museum's current logo.
