Join us for story time at the museum! Stop by our Children’s Underground at 10:30am every 2nd and 4th Wednesday for fun stories and activities. Hosted in collaboration with community partners, this program is included with paid admission or free for Yakima Valley Museum members. No advanced registration is required.
Make the museum your classroom! Every second Wednesday of the month, the Yakima Valley Museum and the Lupine Society of Readers will be hosting social studies lessons for homeschool students in 3rd-8th grade. Lessons are developed and taught by experienced educators and align with Washington State Standards.
- Students will enjoy a lesson with hands-on activities paired with a guided tour of the museum. Attendance is $10 per student and includes museum admission. Participation is free for museum members!
